Divisions & Commissions for IYS
For the International Year of Soils the IUSS Commissions decided to increasingly raise soil awareness.
Each month one special soil topic will be presented by a different commission.
Each commission will provide knowledge on a special soil topic to inform the public about the importance and diversity of soil.
Additionally each commission will introduce itself and the particular soil topics it is working on.
The soil message intends to present key messages on soil to inform the public. This message will be also available on the main page of this website.
- WHO – Presentation of the responsible IUSS Commission (500 characters max)
- WHAT – Description of activity, idea, topic or event (max 1,500 characters)
- WHEN & WHERE – When and where will the activity or event take place, when & where should the idea be implemented (max 300 characters)
- SOIL MESSAGE – During the IYS a soil message will be presented.
