XXX Congreso Argentino de la Ciencia del Suelo

The Argentine Soil Science Association, together with academic and scientific institutions from the Patagonian region, is organizing the 30th Argentine Congress of Soil Science, which will take place in San Carlos de Bariloche (Río Negro – Patagonia – Argentina).

Held every two years, this event brings together professionals, technicians, producers, and students interested in the sustainable management of soil — a key resource for production and the provision of essential ecosystem services.

Under the theme “Challenges from South to North: Commitment between Conservation and Production,” participants are invited to reflect on Argentina’s territorial diversity and the challenges of balancing conservation with the sustainable use of natural resources, with a focus on soil.

This edition will feature the participation of prominent national and international experts, multiple spaces for exchange, and the traditional soil science field tour.
