Zbigniew Zagorski is
Associate Professor of Soil Science in Division of Soil
Science, Department of Soil Environmental Sciences,
Warsaw Agricultural University - SGGW, Poland. He
completed his MSc in Geology in 1980 in the Faculty of
Geology, Warsaw University and his PhD in Soil Science
in 1999 in the Faculty of Agronomy, Warsaw Agricultural
University – SGGW The fields of expertise: genesis and
evolution of soils developed on limestone and
sedimentary rocks, soil mineralogy and soil
micromorphology, processes in anthropogenically changed
soils. Experience: Treasurer Polish Soil Society Vice
Dean of Faculty of Agronomy, Head Division of Soil
Science WAU SGGW. Participant a few International
Congresses, Conferences and Meetings concerning soil
genesis, micromorphology, clay mineralogy and
geomorphology. Publications: 76 scientific papers in
journals, monographs and books.
