The International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) is the global union of soil scientists. The objectives of the IUSS are to promote all branches of soil science, and to support all soil scientists across the world in the pursuit of their activities. Playful soils

As important, scientific and serious soil tasks may be – a humouristic and playful way is always important to find access to a subject and finally it´s just fun!

The Spanish Society of Soil Science (SECS-Territorial Delegation of Galicia) and the University of Santiago de Compostela published, in English language the comic “Living in the Soil” with the aim of raising awareness amongst young people the importance of soils and the need to protect it and, in addition, to commemorate the International Year of Soil.
